Service design is a concept which focusses not only on an application but also on the entire process behind the application / product. Like in user-centered design, the basis for designing the processes are the needs of people. All touchpoints of customers with a company along the customer journey are central in this approach. The aim of service design is to optimize all processes behind a product and thereby ensure a positive customer experience.
