Interaction Principles
The interaction principles are general criteria for the design of user-friendly interactive systems. Seven interaction principles are defined in the DIN EN ISO 9241-110 standard:
- Suitability for the user's tasks
- Self-descriptiveness
- Conformity with user expectations
- Learnability
- Controllability
- Use error robustness
- User engagement
Originally, the standard specified seven dialogue principles. However, these were revised and renamed interaction principles.
