Usability testing is a method used to observe and interview users of the target group in order to test whether a product is usable. During the test participants are asked to interact with the test product and verbalize their thoughts (think-aloud method) while carrying out typical tasks. Moderator and minute taker are observing the test. After a certain number of test sessions the experts discuss the test findings and their first suggestions for improvement on the basis of the participants’ observations and statements.
