The expert review, also called expert analysis, heuristic review or heuristic evaluation. It is an expert-based research method in contrast to user-centered methods such as the usability test. Multiple experts analyze independently the test product seeking to identify the majority of its usability problems. Often, heuristic evaluation and cognitive walkthrough will be used in combination.
