Design Thinking
The aim of design thinking is to come up with innovative and feasible solutions and ideas for a problem or question. The method is most oftenly conducted in a workshop with different stakeholders for several days and comprises six iterative steps: comprehend, observe, define the perspective, generate ideas, develop prototypes (prototyping) and test them. In this way, the problem gets defined precisely at the beginning in order to generate ideas and solutions on the basis of the previous considerations. The result is usually a first prototype which is evaluated in a test with users from the target group.
