Augmented Reality
Augmented reality means "extended reality" and includes all systems that enrich real-life images with digital content. The user experience can be greatly enhanced with augmented reality, for example when users can virtually try on glasses or place furniture in their living room. Through this form of gamification, users are invited to linger and have the feeling of being able to make informed purchasing decisions because the coveted item seems within reach.
