A/B-Testing
A/B Testing is a comparative method which aims at comparing a new design of an interface to the current design by testing both of them with users. For example, when opening a website 50% of the users will see the current design, whereas the other 50% will look at the modified design. The goal ist to draw inferences from the modifications of the design about changes in user behavior. On this basis, a decision for or against the modified design should be made. Aditionally, A/B Testing can be used when optimizing the conversion rate.
