Sustainability
Ecologically sustainable action is not only a matter close to our hearts, but an integral part of who we are. Climate protection requires immediate action and concerns us all – that’s why we don’t just demand it from others, but consistently put it into practice ourselves.

Sustainable electricity
Sustainability is not a side issue for us – it’s an integral part of our company culture. As a digital company, our energy consumption cannot be completely avoided – but we take responsibility. That’s why we consistently rely on renewable energy sources when choosing both our electricity provider and our hosting partners.
With this focus on energy sustainability, we are taking a significant step towards our goal of climate neutrality.
Sustainable working
Our commitment to environmental and climate protection has been systematically reviewed – and officially recognized. The ÖKOPROFIT (engl. eco profit) certification demonstrates that we don’t just act responsibly, we also make our values visible.
Our focus goes beyond individual measures – we take a holistic approach: from energy sustainability and resource-efficient office processes to climate-friendly mobility, we consciously design our daily work to be sustainable.
Sustainable mobility
Mobility is one of the areas where we act consciously and responsibly. For appointments over longer distances, we prefer remote meetings – efficient, resource-saving, and climate-friendly.
When in-person meetings are necessary, we travel by train – naturally using 100% green electricity. In our day-to-day work, we also focus on environmentally friendly commuting: our employees come to the office by bike or public transport – supported by initiatives such as bike leasing, a sponsored public transport ticket, and flexible home office options.
Sustainability Is a Way of Life at usability.de
We are continuously working towards becoming a climate-neutral company. Here are a few more examples:
-
We cook together
With fresh ingredients, a large collection of healthy recipes, and plenty of enthusiasm – all entirely voluntary, of course.
-
Reusable containers
When we do get takeaway food. Or we eat directly in the restaurant during our lunch break.
-
Soul Bottles and viva con agua
This allows us to save glass bottles, reduce emissions from transport, and contribute to clean drinking water worldwide.
-
Fruit, coffee, and chocolate – fair trade and organic
In doing so, we are also improving living and working conditions in Africa, Asia, and Latin America and supporting organic farming.
Consciously Digital. Naturally Sustainable.
We take responsibility – for what we do and for what we leave behind. With green energy, sustainable working practices, and climate-friendly mobility, we consciously shape our everyday actions – step by step towards a better future.
